A pesquisa foi desenvolvida numa perspectiva discursiva. A partir da análise de um corpus ampliado de documentos da política educacional, foram problematizados os deslocamentos de sentidos que são hegemonizados na produção da política curricular atrelada ao discurso de accountability. Ao investigar quais sentidos possibilitam a hegemonia e significação da política de responsabilização educacional, os dados da pesquisa revelam a associação dos significantes modernização e responsabilização, ambos enunciados como um novo valor naturalizado e qualitativo a ser perseguido na gestão pública. Portanto, a política de responsabilização atua como uma superfície de inscrição de significados, composta de narrativas que vão da modernização à narrativa de salvacionismo, garantia de qualidade, equidade e padrões de desempenho, tendo como corte antagônico a ideia de &#8220;crise&#8221; do sistema educacional.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract: This study aims to investigate the movements of responsibilization educational politics in Pernambuco, arguing through different needs and statements that appear in modernization project. The post structuralist discursive theoretical framework used during the research. After reading and analysing the data using educational politics documents, we problematized the displacements of meanings that are hegemony in the production of curriculum policy linked to an accountability speech. By investigating the meanings that enable hegemony and meaning of accountability educational politics, the research data reveal that association of modernization and accountability concepts are exposed in politics as a new value, naturalized, qualified to be pursued in public management. So the accountability politics act as a surface for writing concepts composed by narratives that goes from modernization to safety narrative, quality assurance, equity and performance patterns, observing different meanings for the idea of crises in educational system.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="es"><p><![CDATA[Resumen: Este estudio busca investigar los movimientos de la política de responsabilización educacional en el estado de Pernambuco, discutiendo las diferentes demandas y enunciaciones que emergen de esa propuesta de modernización. La investigación fue desarrollada en una perspectiva discursiva, a partir del corpus ampliado de documentos de la política educacional, problematizamos los desplazamientos de sentido que son hegemonizados en la producción de la política curricular relacionada con un discurso de accountability. Al investigar cuales sentidos posibilitan la hegemonía y significación de la política de responsabilización educacional, los datos de la investigación revelan la asociación de los significantes modernización y responsabilización, ambos enunciados en la política como un nuevo valor naturalizado y cualitativo a ser perseguido en la gestión pública. Por lo tanto, la política de responsabilización actúa como una superficie de inscripción de significados, compuesta de narrativas que van desde la modernización a la narrativa de salvacionismo, garantía de calidad, equidad y patrones de desempeño, teniendo como corte antagónico la idea de &#8220;crisis&#8221; del sistema educacional.]]></p></abstract>
