<self-uri xlink:href="http://educa.fcc.org.br/scielo.php?script=sci_arttext&amp;pid=S2178-46122024000100306&amp;lng=en&amp;nrm=iso"></self-uri><self-uri xlink:href="http://educa.fcc.org.br/scielo.php?script=sci_abstract&amp;pid=S2178-46122024000100306&amp;lng=en&amp;nrm=iso"></self-uri><self-uri xlink:href="http://educa.fcc.org.br/scielo.php?script=sci_pdf&amp;pid=S2178-46122024000100306&amp;lng=en&amp;nrm=iso"></self-uri><abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="pt"><p><![CDATA[Resumo As escolas destinadas a cuidar e educar crianças pequenas, na cidade de Santo André, foram organizadas ao longo das décadas de 1950 e 1960, quando, por consequência da industrialização, aconteceu o desenvolvimento da cidade e a expansão da população. O objetivo deste texto é problematizar a história das primeiras escolas voltadas às crianças pequenas até a composição da rede andreense de ensino para a infância, responsável por acolher as crianças de 4 a 6 anos, entre os anos de 1954 e 1969. A delimitação temporal justifica-se porque no dia 27/09/1954 foi publicada a lei de criação do Departamento de Educação da cidade de Santo André, e, no ano de 1969, foi criado o Curso de Recreação Infantil no município. Toma-se como fontes ordenamentos legais, jornais, fotografias e entrevistas. Como procedimento de pesquisa foram utilizados a revisão da literatura, a seleção e análise documental. Os anúncios de jornal divulgaram as vagas oferecidas pelas diversas instituições privadas da cidade e as vagas oferecidas no projeto público municipal idealizado pela Divisão de Esportes. Por meio do ordenamento legal foi possível encontrar indícios da organização da educação para a infância, bem como os investimentos a elas destinados. Para referenciar este trabalho busca-se em Escolano (1998) e Kuhlmann (2017) aportes para compreender as instituições de educação voltadas à infância. Como resultado é possível afirmar que o Centro de Recreação Infantil foi considerado um equipamento municipal inovador, com qualidade e concorrido entre a população. Possuía proposta pedagógica que valorizava a prática esportiva e a participação das famílias nas atividades escolares. A construção de dezenas de prédios novos, permitiu divulgar a educação municipal pela cidade e propagandear as políticas públicas do governo.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract Schools designed to care for and educate young children in the city of Santo André were organized throughout the 1950s and 1960s, when, as a result of industrialization, the city experienced a great development and an increase in its population. The objective of this text is to investigate the history of the first external schools for young children until the creation of the public education network for children in the city of Santo André, in the state of São Paulo, which was responsible for caring for children aged 4 to 6, between the years 1954 and 1969. The temporal delimitation is justified because on 1954.09.27 the law creating the Education Department of the city of Santo André was published, and, in 1969, was created the Children's Recreation Course in the municipality. Legal regulations, newspapers, photographs and interviews are taken as sources. As a research procedure, literature review, selection and documentary analysis were used. Newspaper advertisements publicized the possibility of registrations offered by the various private institutions in the city and also offered in the municipal public project created by the Sports Division of Santo André. Through the legal system, it was possible to find people in the organization of early childhood education, as well as the investments allocated to them. To reference this work, we used the works of Escolano (1998) and Kuhlmann (2017) for contributions to understanding this kind of educational institutions. As a result, it is possible to state that the Children's Recreation Center was considered an innovative municipal facility, with quality and approved by the population. It had a pedagogical proposal that valued sports and the participation of families in school activities. The construction of lots of new buildings made it possible to disseminate municipal education throughout the city and publicize the government's public policies.]]></p></abstract>
