A condi&#231;&#227;o inerente &#224; profiss&#227;o de professor envolve, entre outras quest&#245;es, o desenvolvimento profissional e a carreira. Assim, este trabalho se configura como um recorte te&#243;rico, originado de um estudo de tese, que tem como objetivo discutir aspectos do desenvolvimento profissional docente e dos professores iniciantes e analisar os per&#237;odos da carreira docente sob a &#233;gide de um modelo brasileiro. Dessa forma, com a realiza&#231;&#227;o de um levantamento te&#243;rico intenso, foi verificado que os docentes brasileiros t&#234;m sua carreira profissional estudada a partir do modelo europeu, que se diferencia da sua realidade. Este estudo revela elementos que constituem tal diferen&#231;a e como o desenvolvimento profissional se concretiza nos per&#237;odos da carreira. Com isso, as caracter&#237;sticas dos/sobre os professores iniciantes se revelam com os saberes e a experi&#234;ncia.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[ABSTRACT. The inherent condition of the teaching profession involves, among other issues, the professional development and career. Thus, this work is configured as a theoretical framework, originated from a thesis study, which aims to discuss aspects of the professional development of teachers and novice teachers and analyze the periods of teaching career under the aegis of a Brazilian model. Thus, with an intensive theoretical survey, it was found that Brazilian teachers have their professional career studied from the European model, which differs from their reality. This study reveals elements that make up this difference and how professional development is implemented in career periods. Hence, the characteristics of/about the novice teachers are revealed with knowledge and experience.]]></p></abstract>

La condici&#243;n inherente a la profesi&#243;n de profesor involucra, entre otras cuestiones, el desarrollo profesional y la carrera. As&#237;, este trabajo se configura como un recorte te&#243;rico, originado de un estudio de tesis, que tiene como objetivo discutir aspectos del desarrollo profesional docente y de los profesores principiantes; y analizar los per&#237;odos de la carrera docente bajo la &#233;gida de un modelo brasile&#241;o. De esta manera, con la realizaci&#243;n de una recopilaci&#243;n te&#243;rica intensa, fue verificado que los docentes brasile&#241;os tienen su carrera profesional estudiada a partir del modelo europeo, que se diferencia de su realidad.
