Trata-se de uma investigação com abordagem qualitativa do tipo exploratória. Os participantes foram 10 professores de um curso de formação continuada, e as informações foram produzidas a partir de um questionário on-line, sendo analisadas por meio da Análise Textual Discursiva. Da análise das informações, emergiram três categorias: (i) ampliação da compreensão sobre a pesquisa; (ii) valorização das perguntas dos estudantes na sala de aula, (iii) mobilização do envolvimento de estudantes no processo de investigação no contexto de sala de aula. Há indicativos da potencialidade de formações que, de modo teórico e prático, abordem a pesquisa como princípio educativo e como forma de possibilitar a reflexão do professor acerca da pesquisa enquanto modo amplo de ensinar e aprender.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract In this study, we attempt to answer the following question: how can the participation of teachers in a training course that provides didactic/methodological improvement expand their conceptions of research as an educational principle? Ten teachers from a continuing education course participated in this qualitative, exploratory investigation. Data were obtained from an online questionnaire and were analyzed with the use of Discursive Textual Analysis. Three categories emerged from the data analysis: (i) wider understanding of research; (ii) valorization of students&#8217; questions in the classroom, (iii) mobilization of students&#8217; involvement in the research process in the classroom context. There are indications of the potential of training courses that, theoretically and practically, approach research as both an educational principle and a means to enable teachers to reflect on research as a comprehensive way of teaching and learning.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="es"><p><![CDATA[Resumen En este estudio se buscó responder a la pregunta: ¿Cómo la participación de los docentes en un espacio de formación de superación didáctica/metodológica puede ampliar sus concepciones sobre la investigación como principio educativo? Se trata de una investigación con enfoque cualitativo de tipo exploratorio. Diez docentes participaron de un curso de formación continua, y la información fue producida a partir de un cuestionario on-line, siendo analizada, mediante el Análisis Textual Discursivo. Del análisis surgieron tres categorías: (i) ampliación de la comprensión sobre la investigación; (ii) valorar las preguntas de los estudiantes en el aula, (iii) movilizar la participación de los estudiantes en el proceso de investigación en el contexto del aula. Existen indicios del potencial de las formaciones, que abordan la investigación de forma teórica y práctica, como principio educativo y como manera de posibilitar la reflexión docente, acerca de la investigación como forma amplia de enseñar y aprender.]]></p></abstract>
