Por meio do paradigma indiciário coletou dados em periódicos e documentos oficiais como os relatórios provinciais da época além de produções historiográficas e sociológicas sobre o tema. Tem como objetivo registrar que houve luta, resistência e protagonismo dos sujeitos marginalizados, nesse caso, atendidos nessas instituições, os quais escreveram sua influência para a mudança de status de dádiva para direito na concepção da instrução para as classes populares. Ao serem socializados tais registros históricos, esperamos ajudar a combater práticas racistas ainda presentes neste estado, as quais alimentam-se também da invisibilização das histórias destas populações.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="es"><p><![CDATA[Resumen El presente texto analiza evidencias sobre las primeras ofertas de instrucción, destinadas a las clases populares y también a la población negra de Santa Catarina. A través del paradigma evidencial, recopiló datos en periódicos y documentos oficiales como informes provinciales de la época, así como producciones historiográficas y sociológicas sobre el tema. Su objetivo es registrar que hubo lucha, resistencia y protagonismo de sujetos marginados, en este caso, asistidos en estas instituciones, quienes escribieron su influencia para el cambio de estatus de don a derecho en la concepción de la instrucción para las clases populares. Con la socialización de estos registros históricos, esperamos ayudar a combatir las prácticas racistas que aún están presentes en este estado, que también se alimentan de invisibilizar las historias de estas poblaciones.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract The present text analyzes evidences about the first offers of instruction, destined to the popular classes and also to the black population of Santa Catarina. Through the evidential paradigm, he collected data in periodicals and official documents such as provincial reports of the time, as well as historiographical and sociological productions on the subject. Its objective is to register that there was struggle, resistance and protagonism of marginalized subjects, in this case, assisted in these institutions, who wrote their influence for the change of status from gift to right in the conception of instruction for the popular classes. By socializing these historical records, we hope to help fight racist practices still present in this state, which are also fed by making the histories of these populations unviable.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="fr"><p><![CDATA[Résumé Le présent texte analyse des témoignages sur les premières offres d'instruction, destinées aux classes populaires et aussi à la population noire de Santa Catarina. À travers le paradigme de la preuve, il a recueilli des données dans des périodiques et des documents officiels tels que des rapports provinciaux de l'époque, ainsi que des productions historiographiques et sociologiques sur le sujet. Son objectif est d'enregistrer qu'il y a eu lutte, résistance et protagonisme de sujets marginalisés, en l'occurrence assistés dans ces institutions, qui ont écrit leur influence pour le changement de statut de don à droit dans la conception de l'instruction pour les classes populaires. En socialisant ces archives historiques, nous espérons contribuer à lutter contre les pratiques racistes encore présentes dans cet état, qui se nourrissent aussi en rendant invisibles les histoires de ces populations.]]></p></abstract>
