Abrange o per&#237;odo de 1956, ano da cria&#231;&#227;o do col&#233;gio, at&#233; 1972, com a implementa&#231;&#227;o da LDB 5.692/71. O objetivo dessa investiga&#231;&#227;o sobre a cultura escolar e o processo identit&#225;rio do col&#233;gio &#233; contribuir para a pesquisa em hist&#243;ria das institui&#231;&#245;es escolares. Em rela&#231;&#227;o &#224; metodologia, utilizamos registros escritos, fotografias e a hist&#243;ria oral de ex-alunos, ex-professores e moradores da regi&#227;o. Com base na an&#225;lise, conclu&#237;mos que o processo identit&#225;rio do col&#233;gio apresenta algumas notas distintivas, tais como: predomin&#226;ncia da etnia italiana, mudan&#231;a no trabalho pedag&#243;gico e na estrutura f&#237;sica, e o ensino cat&#243;lico como norteador de pr&#225;ticas pedag&#243;gicas.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract:  An analysis on the Col&#233;gio Sagrado Cora&#231;&#227;o de Jesus in Bento Gon&#231;alves RS Brazil is provided between 1956, the year of the establishment of the college, and 1972, when LDB 5.692/1971 was implemented. Current research contributes towards the history of educational institutions through an investigation of school culture and the college&#180;s identity process. Methodology comprised written records, photographs and the oral history of alumni, former teachers and local residents. Results showed that the college&#180;s identity stance compriseda predominance of Italian ethnicity, changes in pedagogical work and in its physical structure, and Catholic teaching foregrounding teaching practices.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="es"><p><![CDATA[Resumen:  Este art&#237;culo presenta resultados de una investigaci&#243;n sobre el Col&#233;gio Sagrado Cora&#231;&#227;o de Jesus, de Bento Gon&#231;alves-Rio Grande do Sul - Brasil. Abarca el per&#237;odo de 1956, a&#241;o de la creaci&#243;n del colegio, hasta 1972, con la aplicaci&#243;n de la LDB 5.692 / 71. El objetivo de esta investigaci&#243;n sobre la cultura escolar y el proceso identitario del colegio es contribuir para la investigaci&#243;n en historia de las instituciones escolares. Con relaci&#243;n a la metodolog&#237;a, utilizamos registros escritos, fotograf&#237;as y la historia oral de ex-alumnos, ex-profesores y residentes de la regi&#243;n. A partir del an&#225;lisis, llegamos a la conclusi&#243;n de que el proceso identitario del colegio presenta algunas notas distintivas, tales como: predominio de la etnia italiana, cambio en el trabajo pedag&#243;gico y en la estructura f&#237;sica, y la ense&#241;anza cat&#243;lica como gu&#237;a de pr&#225;cticas pedag&#243;gicas.]]></p></abstract>
