Esse princ&#237;pios tamb&#233;m embasam a perspectiva da teoria cr&#237;tica da educa&#231;&#227;o, conforme as an&#225;lises de Theodor Adorno, na Theorie der Halbbildung (Teoria da Semiforma&#231;&#227;o - 1959) e nos ensaios que integram o livro Erziehung zur M&#252;ndkeit (Educa&#231;&#227;o e Emancipa&#231;&#227;o &#8211; 1971). O texto apresenta ainda algumas reflex&#245;es sobre as pesquisas recentes realizadas no Brasil e na Alemanha.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[ABSTRACT The critical theory of society, such as Max Horkheimer argued in 1937 in &#8220;Traditional and Critical Theory&#8221;, is based on two basic principles of social theory: the critical behavior and the orientation towards emancipation. These principles provide the basic perspective of critical theory of education, according to Theodor W. Adorno analysis &#8211; for instance in Theorie der Halbbildung and the essays collected in Erziehung zur M&#252;ndigkeit. This paper presents some thoughts based on researches recently carried out in Brazil and Germany.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="es"><p><![CDATA[RESUMEN La teor&#237;a cr&#237;tica de la sociedad, como explica Max Horkheimer, en el art&#237;culo "Teor&#237;a tradicional y teor&#237;a cr&#237;tica" de 1937 se basa en dos principios b&#225;sicos de la teor&#237;a social: comportamiento cr&#237;tico y la orientaci&#243;n para la emancipaci&#243;n.
