<self-uri xlink:href="http://educa.fcc.org.br/scielo.php?script=sci_arttext&amp;pid=S2238-121X2017000200083&amp;lng=en&amp;nrm=iso"></self-uri><self-uri xlink:href="http://educa.fcc.org.br/scielo.php?script=sci_abstract&amp;pid=S2238-121X2017000200083&amp;lng=en&amp;nrm=iso"></self-uri><self-uri xlink:href="http://educa.fcc.org.br/scielo.php?script=sci_pdf&amp;pid=S2238-121X2017000200083&amp;lng=en&amp;nrm=iso"></self-uri><abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="pt"><p><![CDATA[RESUMO O conceito iluminista de progresso encerrou, no decorrer dos &#250;ltimos s&#233;culos, um otimismo quanto ao futuro da esp&#233;cie humana: a cren&#231;a de que os avan&#231;os da ci&#234;ncia, da t&#233;cnica e da raz&#227;o propiciariam n&#227;o apenas uma melhoria nas condi&#231;&#245;es objetivas de vida do homem, mas tamb&#233;m atenderiam aos anseios por bem-estar subjetivo, felicidade e emancipa&#231;&#227;o. Atualmente, vive-se um tempo em que o mundo digital alcan&#231;ou n&#237;veis exponenciais de crescimento, produzindo uma compress&#227;o do espa&#231;o e do tempo, que possibilita a automa&#231;&#227;o do trabalho e a realiza&#231;&#227;o de tarefas humanas de forma simult&#226;nea e sem fronteiras. Entretanto, o &#8220;progresso tecnol&#243;gico&#8221; n&#227;o redundou em &#8220;progresso humanit&#225;rio&#8221; (MARCUSE, 1980). Nesse contexto, este trabalho prop&#245;e realizar uma reflex&#227;o, na perspectiva da Teoria Cr&#237;tica, acerca das novas temporalidades no contexto da cultura digital, problematizando a atual experi&#234;ncia de acelera&#231;&#227;o temporal no ritmo de vida dos indiv&#237;duos e suas implica&#231;&#245;es para a emancipa&#231;&#227;o. Privilegia uma reflex&#227;o a respeito das repercuss&#245;es psicossociais da atual regula&#231;&#227;o do tempo livre como forma de domina&#231;&#227;o social, a partir de duas perspectivas: a cultura do consumo, que ao transformar o tempo livre em objeto de consumo fetichizado o integra &#224; l&#243;gica produtivista do trabalho, e o desenvolvimento e a miniaturiza&#231;&#227;o das tecnologias digitais que, convertidos em pr&#243;teses humanas, transformam o homem num recept&#225;culo, sem media&#231;&#245;es, de todas as demandas sociais, econ&#244;micas e culturais. Considerando-se que as facilidades auferidas pelos recursos tecnol&#243;gicos deveriam dar subs&#237;dios para a emancipa&#231;&#227;o do indiv&#237;duo e sua liberta&#231;&#227;o do trabalho/labuta, interroga-se a respeito do atual paradoxo entre a incessante inova&#231;&#227;o tecnol&#243;gica e a frequente escassez de tempo, sob a &#233;gide da cultura do consumo.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[ABSTRACT Throughout the past centuries, the enlightenment concept of progress has ended an optimism as to the future of the Human species: the belief that the advances of science, technique and reason would not only improve the objective conditions of mens lives, but it would also respond to the aspirations for subjective well-being, happiness and emancipation. Currently, a time is lived in which the digital world has reached exponential levels of growth, producing a compression of time and space which enables labor automation and the accomplishment of human tasks in a simultaneous and borderless ways. However, the &#8220;technological progress&#8221; has not been converted into &#8220;humanitarian progress&#8221; (MARCUSE, 1980). In this context, this paper proposes a reflection about the new temporalities in the digital culture context through a critical theory perspective, questioning the current experience of time acceleration in individuals&#8217; life pace and its implications to emancipation. It also privileges a reflection about the repercussions of current psychosocial free time regulation as a form of social domination from two perspectives: the consumerism culture which has transformed free time into a fetishized consuming object integrating it to the labor production logic and the development of miniaturized digital technologies converted in human prosthetics that transform men into a receptacle without mediations from all social, economic and cultural demands. Considering that the facilities conquered with the technological resources should subsidize individuals emancipation and free them from labor, the current paradox between continuous technological innovation and the frequent scarcity of tiMe under the entrepreneurShip neoliberal ideology iS queStioned.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="es"><p><![CDATA[RESUMEN El concepto ilustrado de progreso, en los &#250;ltimos siglos, expressava un optimismo sobre el futuro de la especie humana: la creencia de que los avances en la ciencia, la tecnolog&#237;a y la raz&#243;n podr&#237;a proporcionar, no s&#243;lo una mejora de las condiciones objetivas de la vida del hombre, pero tambi&#233;n el deseo de bienestar subjetivo, la felicidad y la emancipaci&#243;n. Actualmente, la sociedad experimenta un momento en que el mundo digital alcanz&#243; niveles exponenciales de crecimiento, produciendo una compresi&#243;n del espacio y el tiempo, lo que permite la automatizaci&#243;n de los trabajos y la realizaci&#243;n de tareas de manera simult&#225;nea y sin fronteras. Sin embargo, el &#8220;progreso tecnol&#243;gico&#8221; no dio lugar a un &#8220;progreso humanit&#225;rio&#8221; (MARCUSE, 1980). En este contexto, el presente trabajo se propone llevar a cabo una reflexi&#243;n, desde la perspectiva de la Teor&#237;a Cr&#237;tica, sobre las nuevas temporalidades en el contexto de la cultura digital, cuestionando la actual experiencia de aceleraci&#243;n temporal del ritmo de la vida de las personas y sus implicaciones para la emancipaci&#243;n. Favorece una reflexi&#243;n sobre los efectos psicosociales de la regulaci&#243;n actual del tiempo libre como una forma de dominaci&#243;n social, desde dos perspectivas: la cultura de consumo, que a la vez que transforma el tiempo libre en objeto fetiche del consumo, lo integra a la l&#243;gica productivista del trabajo y el desarrollo y la miniaturizaci&#243;n de las tecnolog&#237;as digitales, conviertidas en pr&#243;tesis humanas, transforman el hombre en un tipo de envase, sin mediaciones, de todas las demandas sociales, econ&#243;micos y culturales. Teniendo en cuenta que las comodidades que han sido obtenidos por los recursos tecnol&#243;gicos deberian proporcionar la emancipaci&#243;n del individuo y su libertad del peso del trabajo, se pregunta sobre la paradoja existente entre la innovaci&#243;n tecnol&#243;gica incesante y la frecuente escasez de tiempo, bajo la cultura de consumo.]]></p></abstract>
