Mostra como as perspectivas delineadas por este autor apresentam uma concepção diferente e contraposta às teorias liberais de Estado e desenham uma elaboração original em relação a diversos autores, em particular a Rousseau, Hegel e Marx, com os quais Gramsci está profundamente conectado. Além de apresentar a atualidade da proposta de Gramsci, o texto aponta, acima de tudo, a necessidade de construir um “Estado ético-político” para realizar a democracia no Brasil, tendo como base as práticas sociais, políticas e pedagógicas dos movimentos populares.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Based on the political action of Brazilian popular movements concerning the State, this article presents a study of the concept of “ethical State” at the thought of Antonio Gramsci. So, in these pages is possible to find a new configuration of de State outlined by this author with a different and opposed conception in front of liberal theories of State and the development of a original thought that dialogues with different authors, in particular, Rousseau, Hegel and Marx, with whom Gramsci is deeply connected. Besides presenting the new proposal of Gramsci, the text points out, above all, the need to build an “ethical-political State” to achieve democracy in Brazil, a country that have many social, political and educational actions of the popular movements.]]></p></abstract>
