São apresentados os resultados de oito entrevistas com esses egressos, selecionados intencionalmente, por sua condição de professor da Educação Superior e realizando pesquisa. As categorias empíricas que emergem dessas falas foram mediadas pela teoria do materialismo histórico-dialético e estudos sobre a Educação Superior, permitindo a compreensão do movimento desse nível de ensino, no período analisado.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[This work is part of a doctorate thesis (PIRES, 2008), which aimed to know, analyze and explain the contradictions, harmonies, correspondences and differences existing between the initial training of university researcher professors, held by the PIBIC/CNPq/UNEB Program, and the professional practice of their egresses. Results are presented of eight interviews with these egresses, intentionally chosen for their condition of High Education teachers and making research. The empirical categories which emerge from these speeches were treated by the theory of dialectical-historical materialism and studies about High Education, allowing to understand the movement of such teaching level, in the analyzed period.]]></p></abstract>
