Nesse processo, envolveram personagens do folclore brasileiro e os &#237;ndios Papuas. A pesquisa qualitativa caracterizou-se como Estudo de Caso, tendo se realizado em uma escola de Educa&#231;&#227;o Infantil, mantida por uma ONG. Os fundamentos te&#243;ricos e metodol&#243;gicos foram amparados na perspectiva hist&#243;rico-cultural. A an&#225;lise das falas envolveu tr&#234;s eixos tem&#225;ticos: manifesta&#231;&#245;es relativas &#224;s lendas, manifesta&#231;&#245;es relativas &#224;s pr&#225;ticas de contagem e manifesta&#231;&#245;es relativas &#224; influ&#234;ncia da pr&#225;tica escolar.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract The article aims to present oral manifestations of the age of five when they realized counting practices, while experienced teaching activities related to one of the conceptual count links: ordering number system , which involved characters from Brazilian folklore and the Papuans Indians. The qualitative research was characterized as case study and was conducted in a school education children maintained by an ONG. The theoretical and methodological foundations were supported in cultural-historical perspective. The analysis the speeches involved three topics: manifestations concerning legends, manifestations related to counting practices and manifestations related to the influence of school practice.]]></p></abstract>
