Por meio dela procu rou-se compreender os processos de resist&#234;ncia constru&#237;dos diante de exclus&#245;es e discrimina &#231;&#245;es raciais vividas. Metodologicamente, essa &#233; uma pesquisa qualitativa do tipo etnogr&#225;fica. Os instrumentos de coletas foram a observa&#231;&#227;o e a entrevista. Os resultados apontam uma trajet&#243;ria marcada pela pobreza, estigmatiza&#231;&#227;o, racismos, preconceito de g&#234;nero e de regi&#227;o. Revela tamb&#233;m que a escolariza&#231;&#227;o e a parti cipa&#231;&#227;o nos movimentos sociais quilombolas foram as principais estrat&#233;gias utilizadas pela docente para resistir e reestabelecer sua au toimagem, sua autoestima, autoconfian&#231;a e profissionalizar-se, transformando, assim, suas condi&#231;&#245;es globais de vida.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract This article is about the life trajectory of a quilombola professor. Through her, it is tried to comprehend the resistance processes that are built in front of experienced exclusions and racial discrimination. Methodologically, this is a qualitative inquiry of ethnographic type. The collecting instruments were the observa tion and the interview. The results point out a trajectory marked by poverty, stigmatization, racism, gender and regional prejudice just for being an inhabitant of a quilombo. It is also noticed that in social quilombolas movements, the schooling and participation were the main strategies used by the professor to resist and re establish her self-image, self-confidence and to professionalize herself, transforming her global conditions of life in that way.]]></p></abstract>
