Pautada numa perspectiva crítica e de caráter exploratório, fez-se análise dos resumos de D&amp;T disponíveis na Biblioteca Digital Brasileira de Teses e Dissertações (BDTD), com as seguintes palavras-chave: formação de professores e ensino de Biologia. A análise se efetuou sobre 99 trabalhos, que compuseram o corpus pesquisado, quanto: à distribuição geográfica e institucional da produção científica e a aspectos metodológicos das pesquisas; às recorrências e aos silenciamentos das pesquisas sobre a formação de professores de Biologia no Brasil.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract The text aims to understand the trends and gaps present in dissertations and theses (D &amp; T) on the formation of Biology teachers in Brazil. Based on a critical and exploratory perspective, the D &amp; T abstracts were analyzed in the Brazilian Digital Library of Theses and Dissertations (BDTD), with the following keywords: Teacher formation and Biology Teaching. The 99 papers, which composed the corpus researched, were analyzed in terms of: geographic and institutional distribution of scientific production and methodological aspects of research; and the recurrence and silencing of research on the formation of Biology teachers in Brazil.]]></p></abstract>
