Assim, o acesso e a permanência na educação são segmentados por cor/raça e intensificada nos níveis mais avançados da escolarização. O objetivo deste artigo é fazer uma discussão teórica, privilegiando a produção acadêmica-política da decolonialidade, sobre a necessidade de análise da política de ação afirmativa nos programas de pós-graduação stricto sensu ofertados nos Institutos Federais (IFs) e das ações para permanência dos estudantes. Estudos têm privilegiado universidades públicas, por outro lado, dentre os 4.602 programas credenciados no Brasil, 150 são ofertados pela Rede Federal de Educação Profissional, dos quais 53% estão nos IFs. Essa discussão fortalece a inclusão dos grupos étnico-raciais na educação superior.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract: The marking of racial difference is transformed in educational inequality. Thus, access and permanence in education is segmented by color/race and intensified us most advanced levels of schooling. The objective of this article is to make a theoretical discussion, privileging the academic-political production of decoloniality, on the need to analyses the policy of affirmative action in the stricto sensu graduate programs offered at the Federal Institutes (IFs) and the actions for the permanence of the students. Studies have privileged public universities, on the other hand, among the 4,602 accredited programs in Brazil, 150 are offered by the Federal Network of Professional Education, of which 53% are in IFs. This discussion strengthens the inclusion of ethnic-racial groups in higher education.]]></p></abstract>

Así, el acceso y permanencia en la educación se segmenta por color/raza y se intensifica en los niveles más avanzados de escolaridad. El objetivo de este artículo es hacer una discusión teórica, privilegiando la producción académico-política de la decolonialidad, sobre la necesidad de analizar la política de acción afirmativa en los programas de posgrado stricto sensu ofrecidos en los Institutos Federales (IFs) y las acciones para la permanencia de los estudiantes.
