Para tanto, objetiva-se refletir sobre o processo de internacionalização dos sistemas de avaliação latino-americanos que se transformam em sistemas de classe mundial. A pesquisa foi realizada a partir da análise de 34 documentos que trataram a avaliação na América Latina entre os anos 1990 e 2019. Os resultados indicam que o modelo adotado é aquele que privilegia a avaliação baseada em resultados, que responsabiliza docentes, monitora e conduz à prestação de contas, que possibilita a comparação entre os sistemas de ensino e estimula o estabelecimento de padrões globais de referência.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract This article discusses the recommendation that international organizations have made for the adoption of world-class evaluation systems in Latin American countries. The aim is to reflect on the process of internationalization of Latin American evaluation systems, which are transformed into world-class systems. The research was based on an analysis of 34 documents dealing with evaluation in Latin America between 1990 and 2019. The results indicate that the model adopted is one that favors results-based assessment, which holds teachers accountable, monitors and leads to accountability, enables comparison between education systems and encourages the establishment of global standards of reference.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="es"><p><![CDATA[Resumen Este artículo problematiza la recomendación que los organismos internacionales han hecho para la adopción de sistemas de evaluación de clase mundial en los países latinoamericanos. El objetivo es reflexionar sobre el proceso de internacionalización de los sistemas de evaluación latinoamericanos, que se transforman en sistemas de clase mundial. La investigación se llevó a cabo mediante el análisis de 34 documentos relacionados con la evaluación en América Latina entre 1990 y 2019. Los resultados indican que el modelo adoptado favorece la evaluación basada en resultados, que responsabiliza a los docentes, monitorea y conduce a la rendición de cuentas, permite la comparación entre sistemas educativos y favorece el establecimiento de referentes mundiales.]]></p></abstract>
