Trata-se da adapta&#231;&#227;o c&#234;nica do romance Ch&#227;o dos Lobos (1976), de Dalc&#237;dio Jurandir (1909-1979), que apresentou de forma pioneira o fen&#244;meno das favelas, onde hoje em dia moram 54% da popula&#231;&#227;o dessa cidade. O ambiente social da favela &#233; retratado em cinco pares de cenas: 1) a intera&#231;&#227;o do protagonista adolescente com moradores da favela; 2) a quest&#227;o de como motivar um jovem a optar pelo magist&#233;rio; 3) as tentativas de evas&#227;o de uma professora cansada; 4) o teatro do povo como lugar de socializa&#231;&#227;o; 5) a viagem fuga do protagonista, sua desilus&#227;o e a volta para a periferia. Conclu&#237;mos com a pergunta de como &#233; que essa experi&#234;ncia de oficina teatral pode ser continuada em forma de uma pesquisa de campo.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[This is a description of a theater workshop realized in 2013/2014 with a group of teachers and students of a public high school in a favela in Bel&#233;m (Amazonia). We performed a scenic adaptation of the novel Ch&#227;o dos Lobos [Territory of Wolves] (1976), written by Dalc&#237;dio Jurandir (1909-1979), a pioneer in representing the favelas, where nowadays 54% of the inhabitants of that city live. We portrayed the environment of the favela in five pairs of scenes: 1) the interaction of the young protagonist with several inhabitants of the favela; 2) the issue of how to motivate a student to become a teacher; 3) the attempts of an exhausted elderly teacher to escape; 4) the theater of the people as a place of socialization; 5) the flight of the protagonist, his disillusion and returning to the favela. We conclude asking how this experience of a theater workshop could be continued by forms of anthropological and pedagogical fieldwork.]]></p></abstract>
