Nesse sentido, busca-se discutir o conceito dessa agenda, em seguida, compreender como a agenda estabelece o processo de reformas para os pa&#237;ses da Am&#233;rica Latina, identificando os seus desdobramentos no &#226;mbito das reuni&#245;es de Ministros da Educa&#231;&#227;o com &#234;nfase para a II C&#250;pula das Am&#233;ricas de Santiago no Chile de 1998.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract This article aims to understand how the consensus in the development process of educational reforms oriented by globally structured agenda works. Therefore, we will discuss the concept of this agenda, then, understand how it defines the process of these reforms for the Latin Am&#233;rican countries by identifying its consequences in the framework of Education Ministers' meetings with emphasis on the II Summit of the Am&#233;ricas in Santiago in Chile in 1998.]]></p></abstract>
