Discute como, na sociedade contemporânea, os corpos encontram-se atravessados por gigantescos processos de dessubjetivação2, que visam à reprodução da máquina de governo das pessoas, das populações, das instituições - dentre, essas, as escolas públicas desconectadas da vida política, atuando como equipamento coletivo em relações regidas por automatismos, sem resistência ao instituído. Debate como Rousseau e Kant, por caminhos diferentes, deram suporte às duas grandes vertentes do pensamento pedagógico moderno e seus reflexos na configuração da atual escola pública. Defende a possibilidade de a escola pública atuar como máquina de guerra, movimentando nosso pensamento e nossas ações para outros modos de estar escola e coletivo. Apresenta como possibilidade o caso brasileiro da escola pública como máquina de guerra: a escola pública aprendente de Paulo Freire.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract: It aims to discuss the school as a pedagogical device in contemporary capitalism. It discuss how, in contemporary society, bodies are crossed by huge processes of desubjectivation, which objective to reproduce the machinery of governance of the people, of the populations, of the institutions - among these, public schools disconnected from political life, acting as collective equipment through relations governed by automatism, without resistance to instituted. Debate as Rousseau and Kant, by different paths, supported the two great strands of modern pedagogical thinking and its reflexes in the configuration of today public school. It defends the possibility of the public school acting as a war machine, moving our thinking and our actions to other ways of being school and collective. It presents as a possibility the Brazilian case of the public school as a war machine: Paulo Freire&#8217;s public school.]]></p></abstract>

En la sociedade contemporânea, los cuerpos se encuentran atravessados por gigantescos processos de desubjetivación, que apuntan a la reproducción de la máquina de gobierno de las personas, de las poblaciones, de las instituciones, entre ellas las escuelas públicas desconectadas de la vida política, actuando como equipamiento colectivo en relaciones regidas por automatismos, sin resistência al instituído. Debate como Rousseau y Kant, por caminos diferentes, apoyaron las dos grandes vertientes del pensamento pedagógico moderno y sus reflejos en la configuración de la actual escuela pública. Defiende la posibilidad de que la escuela pública actúe como máquina de guerra, moviendo nuestro pensamento y nuestras acciones hacia otros modos de estar escuela y colectivo.
