Referenciando-nos na obra de Paulo Freire e em teóricos de linhagem freiriana, a configuração dessa abordagem temática se apoia no dialogismo e na problematização das situações vivenciadas pelos educandos por meio da investigação de um tema gerador, com base nos conteúdos programáticos e nos conhecimentos referentes a uma dada realidade. Tal investigação possibilita que os sujeitos dialoguem com diferentes conhecimentos e percepções, em busca de respostas para as situações colocadas pelo método de problematizar a realidade. Com a leitura da epistemologia freiriana, é possível observar uma organização da ação pedagógica do educador pela busca de temáticas significativas para, só então, realizar a seleção de conhecimentos sistematizados da sua área de conhecimento &#8211; interdisciplinar ou disciplinar &#8211;, do conteúdo programático, e, assim, preparar o seu plano de aula e as atividades. Como resultado do mergulho na episteme freiriana, fica a convicção de que uma educação transformadora só será possível com base em uma relação horizontal entre educador e educando mediada pelo diálogo, e é nessa relação que surge a problematização, para acercar uma temática significativa, tendo como pressuposto que quem ensina também aprende.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract: This article aims to present and discuss the conception of the teaching methodology for thematic research, through the reading of Freirean epistemology, as a pedagogical possibility for a transformative education. Referring to the work of Paulo Freire and theorists of Freirean lineage, the configuration of this thematic approach is supported by dialogism and the problematization of the situations experienced by students through the investigation of a generating theme, based on the syllabus and knowledge referring to a given reality. Such investigation allows the subjects to dialogue with different knowledge and perceptions, in search of answers to the situations posed by the method of problematizing reality. With the reading of Freirean epistemology, it is possible to observe an organization of the educator&#8217;s pedagogical action by the search for significant themes to, only then, carry out the selection of systematized knowledge of his area of knowledge &#8211; interdisciplinary or disciplinary &#8211;, of the programmatic content and, thus, prepare your lesson plan and activities. As a result of diving into the Freirean episteme, the conviction remains that a transformative education will only be possible based on a horizontal relationship between educator and student mediated by dialogue, and it is in this relationship that problematization arises, to approach a significant theme, having as assumption that the teacher also learns.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="es"><p><![CDATA[Resumen: Este artículo tiene como objetivo presentar y discutir el diseño de la metodología de enseñanza para la investigación temática, a través de la lectura de la epistemología de Freire, como una posibilidad pedagógica para una educación transformadora. Refiriéndose al trabajo de Paulo Freire y los teóricos del linaje freiriano, la configuración de este enfoque temático se apoya en el diálogo y la problematización de las situaciones experimentadas por los estudiantes a través de la investigación de un tema generador, basado en el programa y el conocimiento refiriéndose a una realidad dada. Dicha investigación permite a los sujetos dialogar con diferentes conocimientos y percepciones, en busca de respuestas a situaciones planteadas por el método de problematización de la realidad. Con la lectura de la epistemología freiriana, es posible observar una organización de la acción pedagógica del educador mediante la búsqueda de temas significativos para, solo entonces, llevar a cabo la selección del conocimiento sistematizado de su área de conocimiento &#8211; interdisciplinario o disciplinario - del contenido programático y por lo tanto, preparar su plan de lecciones y actividades. Como resultado de sumergirse en la episteme freiriana, la convicción sigue siendo que una educación transformadora solo será posible sobre la base de una relación horizontal entre educador y estudiante mediada por el diálogo, y es en esta relación que surge la problematización, para abordar un tema significativo, con el supuesto de que el maestro también aprende.]]></p></abstract>
