A pesquisa foi realizada em uma escola de uma cidade do oeste do Estado de Santa Catarina, com a utilização de questionário aplicado via Google Forms. A análise dos dados segue a perspectiva qualitativa. A base teórica do estudo compõe-se por autores como Vasconcellos (1998), Villas Boas (2004), Montessori (1965, 1992, 2017), Hoffmann (2012a), Barlow (2006), dentre outros. Os resultados permitem entender e conceituar a avaliação na perspectiva montessoriana, bem como compreender de que maneira ela ocorre no contexto da Educação Infantil. Identificou-se que o foco do processo avaliativo está voltado para o desenvolvimento do educando, dando vazão ao exercício da liberdade de expressão, dentro do ritmo de cada criança, valendo-se do espaço e tempo próprio da infância que resulta no desenvolvimento de sua plena autonomia.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract The article systematizes the data and reflects on the information collected with four teachers and the management team of a Montessorian school, with the objective of explaining how the evaluation process in Early Childhood Education takes place, with an emphasis on Montessorian Pedagogy, as well as seeking to understand the development process of the autonomy of the children included in this Pedagogy. The research was carried out in a school in a city in the west of the state of Santa Catarina, using a questionnaire applied via Google Forms. Data analysis follows a qualitative perspective. The theoretical basis of the study is composed of authors such as Vasconcellos (1998), Villas Boas (2004, 2008), Montessori (1965, 1992, 2017), Hoffmann (2012a), Barlow (2006), among others. The results allow understanding and conceptualizing the evaluation in the Montessorian perspective, as well as understanding how it occurs in the context of Early Childhood Education. It identified that the focus of the evaluation process is on the development of the student, giving vent to the exercise of freedom of expression, within the rhythm of each child, taking advantage of the space and time of childhood that results in the development of their full autonomy.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="es"><p><![CDATA[Resumen El artículo sistematiza los datos y reflexiona sobre la información recolectadas con cuatro docentes y el equipo directivo de una escuela montessoriana, con el objetivo de explicar cómo se da el proceso de evaluación en Educación Infantil, con énfasis en la Pedagogía Montessoriana, así como buscar comprender el proceso de desarrollo de la autonomía de los niños incluidos en esta Pedagogía. La investigación se llevó a cabo en una escuela de una ciudad del oeste del estado de Santa Catarina, utilizando un cuestionario aplicado a través de Google Forms. El análisis de datos sigue una perspectiva cualitativa. La base teórica del estudio está compuesta por autores como Vasconcellos (1998), Villas Boas (2004, 2008), Montessori (1965, 1992, 2017), Hoffmann (2012a), Barlow (2006), entre otros. Los resultados permiten comprender y conceptualizar la evaluación en la perspectiva montessoriana, así como comprender cómo se da en el contexto de la Educación Infantil. Se identificó que el enfoque del proceso de evaluación está en el desarrollo del estudiante, dando cauce al ejercicio de la libertad de expresión, al ritmo de cada niño, aprovechando el espacio y tiempo de la niñez que redunda en el desarrollo de su plena autonomía.]]></p></abstract>
