Permeia uma pesquisa a partir do Grupo de Estudo e Pesquisa Crianças e Infâncias (GEPCI), da Universidade Federal de Mato Grosso do Sul &#8211; Campus Aquidauana (UFMS/CPAQ). Orienta-se na perspectiva da história social da infância e da criança, em que o foco se entrelaça na preocupação e necessidade de investigar a origem dos conceitos, levando-se em conta o contexto, a produção e suas relações sociais, bem como um panorama das concepções dos principais pesquisadores que estudam temas relacionados à cultura das crianças e à/s infância/s, como: Manuel Sarmento (2004), Alan Prout (2010), Willian Corsaro (2011), Régine Sirota (2006) e Jens Qvortup (2011). Dessa forma, o registro em questão sublinha o que pensam tais pesquisadores e como estão, para a sociedade, os estudos da criança, sobretudo a sociologia da infância. Para efeito de investigação, o conjunto de contribuições dos pensadores aqui reunidos expressa o vigor e o desafio de um grupo disposto a estudar a infância sob uma nova ótica: dando à criança um protagonismo inédito. Assim, este estudo é uma oportunidade para o conhecimento das perspectivas adotadas por um grupo de nvestigadores que têm ajudado a renovar o debate nas ciências sociais e humanas de nosso tempo e que, de alguma forma, sejam capazes de sublinhar novas investigações e instigar práticas pedagógicas mais sensíveis e respeitosas às possibilidades e aos direitos das crianças.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract This theoretical-bibliographical research seeks to identify recent studies on the universe of children and illustrates how to understand it based on historical and social construction. It permeates research from the Children and Childhood Study and Research Group (GEPCI), at the Federal University of Mato Grosso do Sul &#8211; Aquidauana Campus (UFMS/CPAQ). It is guided by the perspective of the social history of childhood and children, in which the focus interweaves the concern and need to investigate the origin of concepts taking into account the context, production, and their social relations, as well as an overview of the conceptions of the main researchers who study topics related to children&#8217;s culture and childhood, such as: Manuel Sarmento (2004), Alan Prout (2010), Willian Corsaro (2011), Régine Sirota (2006), and Jens Qvortup (2011). In this way, the record in question highlights what these researchers think and how it is, for society, the child studies, especially the sociology of childhood. For research purposes, the set of contributions from the thinkers gathered here expresses the vigor and challenge of a group willing to study childhood from a new perspective: giving the child an unprecedented protagonism. Thus, this study is an opportunity to learn about the perspectives adopted by a group of researchers who have helped to renew the debate in the social and human sciences of our time, and that, in some way, they are capable of underlining new investigations and instigating pedagogical practices that are more sensitive and respectful of children&#8217;s possibilities and rights.]]></p></abstract>

Permea nvestigaciones del Grupo de Estudio e Investigación Niños e Infancia (GEPCI), de la Universidad Federal de Mato Grosso do Sul &#8211; Campus Aquidauana (UFMS/CPAQ). Se guía por la perspectiva de la historia social de la infancia y del niño, en la que el enfoque entrelaza la preocupación y necesidad de investigar el origen de los conceptos teniendo en cuenta el contexto, la producción y sus relaciones sociales, así como un panorama de las concepciones de los principales investigadores que estudian temas relacionados con la cultura de los niños y de la/s infancia/s, tales como: Manue Sarmento (2004), Alan Prout (2010), Willian Corsaro (2011), Régine Sirota (2006) y Jens Qvortup (2011). De esta manera, el registro en cuestión resalta lo que piensan estos investigadores y cómo son, para la sociedad, los estudios sobre la infancia, especialmente la sociología de la infancia. Para fines de investigación, el conjunto de aportes de los pensadores aquí reunidos expresa el vigor y el desafío de un grupo dispuesto a estudiar la infancia desde una nueva perspectiva: otorgar al niño un protagonismo sin precedentes. Así, este estudio es una oportunidad para conocer las perspectivas adoptadas por un grupo de investigadores que han contribuido a renovar el debate en las ciencias sociales y humanas de nuestro tiempo, y que, de alguna manera, sean capaces de subrayar nuevas investigaciones e instigar prácticas pedagógicas más sensibles y respetuosas de as posibilidades y los derechos de los niños.]]></p></abstract>
