Nesta escrita, procuramos tecer reflexões sobre como as concepções e práticas de cuidar e educar demarcam um posicionamento político, ético e estético da etapa da Educação Infantil, tendo em vista a defesa pelos direitos de bebês e crianças a um atendimento educacional de boa qualidade. Ainda, destacamos a importância de que essa temática esteja permanentemente em diálogo entre as pessoas que pesquisam sobre Educação Infantil.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract This article is a theoretical excerpt of knowledge produced in the context of a doctoral thesis that has been defended and two master&#8217;s dissertations in progress that study the construction of teacher identity and pedagogical practices with children in the intertwining with the ethical and aesthetic dimensions. In this writing, we try to reflect on how the conceptions and practices of caring and educating demarcate a political, ethical and aesthetic positioning of the Early Childhood Education stage, with a view to defending the rights of babies and children to good quality educational care. We also emphasize the importance of this theme being permanently in dialogue with people who research Early Childhood Education.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="es"><p><![CDATA[Resumen Este artículo es un extracto teórico de conocimiento producido en el contexto de una tesis doctoral defendida y dos tesis de maestría en curso que estudian la construcción de la identidad docente y las prácticas pedagógicas con niños en el entrecruzamiento de las dimensiones ética y estética. En este escrito, intentamos reflexionar sobre cómo las concepciones y prácticas de cuidar y educar demarcan un posicionamiento político, ético y estético de la etapa de Educación Infantil, con vistas a la defensa de los derechos de los bebés y niños a una atención educativa de calidad. Destacamos también la importancia de que este tema esté permanentemente en diálogo con las personas que investigan la Educación Infantil.]]></p></abstract>
