Após explicitar as questões inerentes à transnacionalização da educação, à ajuda pública ao desenvolvimento e à privatização da educação, o texto discute os impactos e efeitos que o apoio à educação pública teve nas escolas privadas. Para tal, recorreu-se a um corpus documental, a entrevistas semiestruturadas e a grupos focais. A análise indica que o apoio às escolas públicas proporcionou, concomitantemente, apoio às escolas privadas, tendo ainda a intervenção funcionado como mediador curricular.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract The article focuses on the experience of a bilateral Program of education development in the context of Portugal's official development assistance, with reference to Guinea-Bissau. After explaining the inherent issues in the transnationalization of education, the text oversees development assistance and education privatization, the text discusses the impacts and effects that the Program support for public education has had on private schools. Data collection was based on document analysis, semi-structured interviews and focus groups. The results indicates that the support to the public schools at the same time supported private schools, and the intervention functioned as a curricular mediator.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="es"><p><![CDATA[Resumen El artículo busca centrarse en la experiencia de un Programa bilateral de apoyo a la educación en el contexto de la ayuda pública al desarrollo de Portugal, teniendo como referencia a Guiné-Bissau. Después de explicitar las cuestiones inherentes a la transnacionalización de la educación, a la ayuda pública al desarrollo y a la privatización de la educación, el texto discute los impactos y efectos que el apoyo a la educación pública tuvo en las escuelas privadas. Para eso, se buscó datos documentales, se realizó entrevistas semiestructuradas y grupos focales. El análisis indica que el apoyo a las escuelas públicas proporcionó, concomitantemente apoyo a las escuelas privadas, teniendo aún la intervención funcionado como mediador curricular.]]></p></abstract>
