Nesse sentido, gestores de instituições públicas acabam por assumir desafios que ensejam a busca de alternativas capazes de mitigar resultados provocados pelo desestímulo e desmotivação de servidores. Diante deste contexto, o presente estudo teve por objetivo investigar fatores intrínsecos e extrínsecos que, na percepção dos servidores, exercem maior influência na satisfação para o trabalho. O aporte teórico, fundamentado na Teoria dos dois fatores de Herzberg, associado a um levantamento tipo survey possibilitou a obtenção de resultados capazes de oferecer aos gestores dessas instituições subsídios para a formulação de ações voltadas ao estímulo da força de trabalho. A unidade de pesquisa compreendeu o campus avançado de uma Universidade Federal localizada em Minas Gerais.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract Public employees in federal Higher Education Institutions have realized the impact of restrictive measures imposed by the Brazilian government, which has reflected in the conditions of the work environment, as well as in the career of these professionals. Thus, public institutions managers end up taking on challenges that lead to the search for alternatives capable of mitigating results caused by discouragement and demotivation of servants. Given this context, the present study aimed to investigate intrinsic and extrinsic factors that, in the perception of employees, exert a greater influence on job satisfaction. The theoretical contribution, based on Herzberg&#8217;s Theory of two factors, associated with a survey, made it possible to obtain results to offer managers subsidies for the formulation of actions aimed at stimulating the workforce. The research unit comprised the advanced campus of a Federal University at Minas Gerais.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="es"><p><![CDATA[Resumen Los empleados públicos de las Instituciones Federales de Educación Superior se han dado cuenta del impacto de las medidas restrictivas impuestas por el gobierno brasileño, que se ha reflejado en las condiciones del entorno laboral, así como en la carrera de estos profesionales. Así, los gestores de las instituciones públicas acaban asumiendo retos que llevan a la búsqueda de alternativas capaces de mitigar los resultados provocados por el desánimo y la desmotivación de los servidores. En este contexto, el presente estudio tuvo como objetivo investigar los factores intrínsecos y extrínsecos que, en la percepción de los empleados, ejercen una mayor influencia en la satisfacción laboral. El aporte teórico, basado en la Teoría de los dos factores de Herzberg, asociado a una encuesta, permitió obtener resultados al ofrecer a los gerentes subsidios para la formulación de acciones dirigidas a estimular la fuerza laboral.
