Face a uma política educacional obscura e omissa, a educação superior sofre com o empresariamento que tem orientado os sistemas educacionais em escala mundial, o qual reverbera na institucionalização de programas formativos destinados aos docentes universitários. Considerando o cenário da institucionalização de ações formativas, questionamos qual o potencial formativo da investigação narrativa na formação continuada de docentes universitários? Desse modo, nosso objetivo foi refletir sobre o papel da pesquisa narrativa na formação continuada do docente universitário, analisando seu potencial formativo em acessar o conhecimento, necessidades e experiências dos docentes envolvidos. Tomando a pesquisa narrativa como fenômeno e método investigativo, aportamos narrativas de docentes universitários provenientes dos cenários brasileiro e espanhol, que evidenciaram, por meio da reflexão sobre suas experiências, a potencialidade da pesquisa narrativa na formação continuada de docentes universitários e nos permitiram concluir ser esta uma possibilidade formativa e emancipatória ímpar e necessária a orientar os programas formativos institucionalizados destinados ao docente universitário.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[ABSTRACT Reflection on the experience in the continuing education of teachers entering higher education and narrative research constitute the priority focus of discussion of this investigation. Faced with an obscure and omissive educational policy, higher education suffers from the entrepreneurship that has guided educational systems on a global scale, which reverberates in the institutionalization of training programs aimed at university teachers. Considering the scenario of institutionalization of training actions, we question what is the training potential of narrative research in the continuing education of university teachers? Thus, our objective was to reflect on the role of narrative research in the continued training of university professors, analyzing its training potential in accessing the knowledge, needs and experiences of the professors involved. Taking narrative research as a phenomenon and investigative method, we contributed narratives from university professors from the Brazilian and Spanish scenarios, who highlighted, through reflection on their experiences, the potential of narrative research in the continued training of university professors and allowed us to conclude that this a unique and necessary training and emancipatory possibility to guide institutionalized training programs aimed at university teachers.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="es"><p><![CDATA[RESUMEN La reflexión sobre la experiencia en la formación continua de docentes que ingresan a la educación superior y la investigación narrativa constituyen el foco prioritario de discusión de esta investigación. Frente a una política educativa oscura y omisiva, la educación superior sufre el emprendimiento que ha guiado los sistemas educativos a escala global, lo que repercute en la institucionalización de programas de formación dirigidos a docentes universitarios. Considerando el escenario de institucionalización de las acciones formativas, nos preguntamos ¿cuál es el potencial formativo de la investigación narrativa en la formación continua de docentes universitarios? Así, nuestro objetivo fue reflexionar sobre el papel de la investigación narrativa en la formación continua del profesorado universitario, analizando su potencial formativo en el acceso a los conocimientos, necesidades y experiencias de los profesores implicados. Tomando la investigación narrativa como fenómeno y método de investigación, aportamos narrativas de profesores universitarios de los escenarios brasileño y español, quienes resaltaron, a través de la reflexión sobre sus experiencias, el potencial de la investigación narrativa en la formación continua de profesores universitarios y nos permitió concluir que se trata de una posibilidad formativa y emancipadora única y necesaria para orientar los programas de formación institucionalizados dirigidos al profesorado universitario.]]></p></abstract>
