Abstract

Based on data from a DIEESE (Labor Department of Statistics) research that draws the professional profile of the psychologist, the author discusses the persistence of sexual ghettos in the University. This discussion is centered on three main questions: the reinforcement of traditional sex roles in school, the specificity of occupations in the labor market regarding the workers' sex, and the instant adjustment of female carriers given the uncetainties of their professional future.
