This investigation analyzes the impacts of the BNCC-NEM package applied to the physics curricula offered to students in public schools in Paraná. Recent educational reforms are verified in relation to their objectives, in terms of offering school content to students in public schools. In this aspect, in the methodological field, a group of undergraduate physics students, in their supervised internships, collected physics content from the school and real curricula. A direct comparison was made between the official curricula with an adopted physics curricular model, and with the content required in the National High School Exam. The results indicate that there are losses in the schooling of students in public schools, generated by a drastic reduction in physics content, established in the curriculum by the denial of access to school knowledge in this subject. Such denial frustrates the intellectual, social and cultural emancipation of these students, in addition to hindering access to higher education due to the lack of physics content in the curricula used in the state of Paraná.
