BERNARDO, Julio Cesar Oliveira e KARWOSKI, Acir Mário. BLENDED LEARNING AS A POSSIBILITY OF TIME OPTIMIZATION IN NIGHT UNIVERSITY EDUCATION. ETD - Educ. Temat. Digit. [online]. 2024, vol.26, e024025. ISSN 1676-2592. https://doi.org/10.20396/etd.v26i00.8671572.
This research is based on the premise that physical distancing and the adoption of remote teaching, which was intensified by the covid-19 pandemic from 2020, have re-signified the application of blended learning, understood as teaching practices with diversified methodologies and, for the most part of the situations, alternating between face-to-face and online systems. The objective was to raise reflections on the viability of blended learning in night college. The analyzes were obtained from literature related to blended learning, evasion, higher education and night school. A research on the Capes Periodicals Platform was used and came to justify and support the need to promote changes in terms of time management in the teaching and learning process of night shift students, generally marked by the duality between study and work. Through bibliographical and documentary sources, this research sought to relate the use of blended learning in optimizing time for night college teaching, demonstrating that it can be a constant strategy to mitigate high and permanent evasion rates. The results and reflections point to considerable applicability possibilities and warn about the need to restructure shifts and teaching systems, especially about the night school shift.
