The present article discusses the importance of the adjustment process for children entering the first grade of Elementary School. This not only requires the adjustment of the child, but also his/her parents, teachers and teaching institution. Some factors that can influence the education process are presented such as behavior that show adjustament difficulty on the part of child. In addition, a number of activities designed specifically for the first grade are suggested.
