The objective is to contextualize, in the perspective of popular education as a dialectical and social movement, places and subjects of an experience in process, worked by women within a popular movement located in the suburbs. The experience is anchored in action-research as a mobilizing presumption and as political and pedagogical action. The article describes and analyzes the emergence of the Popular Wisdom The Daisies and its fundamental concepts in the relationship with categories of Freirean thought-action: autonomy, liberation, and empowerment, as well as concrete elements and factors involved in popular participation and collective knowledge sharing.
