Teaching Astronomy in High School as a Training Itinerary

The Teaching of Astronomy is recommended by the documents that guide Basic Education in Brazil, the National Curricular parameters, since the 90s and currently the National Common Curricular Base (NCCB). This work aims to analyze the NCCB for Secondary Education, a document proposed in 2017/2018 regarding Astronomy Teaching. After analyzing this document, it was observed that the document does not present clarity, specificity and depth of themes for working with Astronomy, an aspect that can greatly harm teaching. In order to suggest a way of working with Astronomy, based on what is recommended by the guiding documents, a sequence of content was constructed to support the construction of a Training Itinerary for the first and third years of Education. Along with the content, methodological and material aspects are presented that can be obtained on public websites for use in the classroom, as support for teachers in their practice.
