In this paper, we highlight the changes that occurred in the first half of the seventeenth century, to the reorganization of mathematics education in bourgeois contexts, this reorganization was essential for the diffusion of a new science that had started then. Those events are related to the development of trading and industry, the rise of the bourgeoisie and its opposition to the discourses of scholastic and nobilities’ lifestyles.
