This paper is about the Post-graduation Program Doctorate in Science and Mathematics Education - PPGECEM - at the Amazon Education Network in Science and Mathematics Education - REAMEC. It shows the organization of higher education institutions network in the Brazilian North Region that aim to implement the Post-graduation Program Doctorate in Science and Mathematics Education - PPGECEM, in order to have doctors (PhDs) to teach in the Amazon region. It displays the network organization, structure and dynamics as well as the doctorship characterization, its theoretical backgrounds, objectives and profile of the doctors it is supposed to have graduated to work in the Brazilian Legal Amazon.
