Abstract

This article discusses the framework pointed by the university students, in an applied study at the University of Joinville - Univille (Brazil) and at the University of Coimbra (Portugal). The research analysis the students and student representatives’ environmental and sociocultural conceptions and practices, interviewed in Brazil and Portugal. They manifested themselves about ethics, socio environmental sustainability, and political, considering the possible contradictions between the two countries. From a critical discussion about the ecological citizenship that was presented by the students, the awarness dimensions were analyzed, and the individual or collective responsibility in the socio environmental area.
