The objective of this text is to reveal readings of the world of a group of students, during participation in a set of meetings focused on Financial Education through the theme of inflation. The participants were students from a public school in the interior of Minas Gerais, who were present at ten meetings to explore the topic of inflation in conversation circles, calculations and investigations. We chose some data to analyze and respond to our objective. The analyzes showed that the students appropriated new readings of the world about inflation and concepts connected to it. More than that, they started to have a more critical look at its causes and consequences. Writings from the world were also carried out.
