Our Mission

Founded in 1971, Cadernos de Pesquisa is a journal of the Fundação Carlos Chagas (São Paulo, Brazil) that aims to disseminate academic output related to education. It is focused on social inequalities and publishes studies with an interdisciplinary approach to issues regarding gender, ethnic-racial relations, childhood, youth, school, work, family, and public policies. The journal welcomes unpublished manuscripts with various perspectives, primarily empirical, historical, or documental research. It accepts essays, interviews, experiment reports, and book reviews. The journal is known for its relevance in researchers' development. It uses the following evaluation criteria: social relevance, theoretical and methodological contributions, and innovative nature of studies.
