Our Mission

The journal Educação: Teoria e Prática (Education: Theory and Practice) is an ongoing publication of the Department of Education/IB and the Postgraduate Program in Education at the Universidade Estadual Paulista "Júlio de Mesquita Filho" (UNESP) Rio Claro Campus. It is an important instrument for critical dialog and discussion between teachers, researchers, specialists in Education and students. Throughout its existence, it has strengthened its academic vocation with regard to the production of interdisciplinary knowledge, moving from local to regional and national insertion, with a view to international insertion. The journal had a printed version from 1993 to 2010 (ISSN: 1981-8106) and is now electronic. Quadrennial Qualis CAPES evaluation 2017-2020: A2.
