Ciência & Educação is published three times a year, with editions in April, August and December and its purpose is the dissemination of original scientific articles in areas of Science and Mathematics Education, and related subjects.

The journal abbreviated title is Ciênc educ. (Bauru), which should be used in bibliographies, footnotes, bibliographical notes and references.
