Cadernos de Pesquisa (Fundação Carlos Chagas) welcomes unpublished work from a variety of theoretical perspectives, prioritizing the publication of empirical, historical or documentary research. It includes book reviews and, exceptionally, essays and interviews. All authors must register at the Portal Periódicos e Séries FCC and, when the manuscript has two or more authors, it is necessary to indicate, at the end of the text, the contribution of each author to its preparation. Review and approval of the final version of the work. The references, restricted only to the works cited in the text, must come at the end of this and be guided by the 7th edition of the Publication manual of the American Psychological Association (APA), following the alphabetical order of the first author's surname. Every manuscript submitted to Cadernos de Pesquisa (Fundação Carlos Chagas) is analyzed using an anti-plagiarism software before being sent to evaluation. The purpose of the procedure is to identify plagiarism and self-plagiarism. Plagiarism is considered to be the copy of someone else’s intellectual work, whether. the entire production or a fragment of that work, without being given due credit. Self-plagiarism is the reproduction, in whole or in part, of a work of one's own authorship, previously published, without its proper identification. Situations of self-plagiarism occur when, for example, research reports, theses and/or dissertations and papers presented at scientific events are published literally in article format. In such cases, the journal will accept the manuscript, provided that there is an investment of authorship in order to reformulate the previous version, including a clear mention of the original production. The inclusion of new authors after the approval of the article is prohibited. All authors must be indicated at the time of submission. A minimum interval of six months will be observed for the publication of articles by the same author. The ideas and opinions expressed in the published articles are the sole responsibility of their authors, and do not necessarily reflect the opinion of the journal. During the review process, the journal reserves the right to make small formal changes in the text, while respecting the authors’ opinion and style. The published texts are licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution License (CC BY 4.0), which allows them to be shared. Other forms of publication of the work may only occur twelve months after its publication in this journal, provided that they are requested from the Scientific Editors and their source is explicitly indicated.
