Fineduca is an online academic journal of free access, peer-reviewed, edited by the National Association for Research in Education Financing. It aims to disseminate unpublished studies, research, reflections on the practice and to promote the exchange and debate of ideas, contributing to the improvement of the analytical tools and the theoretical and methodological concepts related to its scope. It publishes unpublished works in Portuguese, Spanish and English, with the exception of the classic texts that are out of print and translations of articles inaccessible to Brazilian readers when authorized by their authors. This scientific journal intends to be a democratic and plural channel for the dissemination of different analyzes and conceptions about educational financing. |
|
FINEDUCA Journal receives proposals for individual and co-authored texts. The works are evaluated according to the principle of blind peer review, that is, based on the feedbacks of at least two experts from states or countries other than the state or country of the author(s). The journal accepts texts in the form of scientific articles, avoiding receiving texts for evaluation that are: only research projects or reports; only literature review; clippings of academic papers without adaptation; experience report without in-depth theoretical discussion; incomplete or insufficiently elaborated for the theme they propose; outside the Education Financing area and related areas; written in a non-academic manner or containing many language and typing errors; formatted according to different rules from those practiced by the scientific journal. Texts that have already been published in part or in whole are also rejected. The texts to be evaluated, for publication purposes, go through three phases. The first corresponds to the pre-evaluation carried out by editors considering formal compliance with the journal standards and submission to the plagiarism identification program, conditions that, if not met, will result in the text being archived after informing the authors. In the second phase, the text is sent to at least two reviewers, experts in the area or approach of the article under evaluation, from institutions other than the authors' institutions. In the third phase, the approved articles go for adjustments by the authors necessary to enter the editing phase. In the case of texts rejected by two reviewers, the authors are notified and the text is archived. Submissions that receive discrepant opinions are forwarded to a third evaluator. The required revisions must be considered according to the opinion sent by the editorial team. The journal can also, in order to encourage the publication of certain themes, invite researchers to send unpublished texts, as long as they are in a lower proportion than the evaluated texts and under the condition that they are an important contribution to the area. The journal accepts articles based on research communications already published in Annals of events, as long as they are substantially revised and expanded. The deadline for starting the evaluation process will be UP TO eight months. The publication of approved articles will be carried out within a MAXIMUM period of 24 months from the date of submission. |
