The Jornal de Políticas Educacionais (JPE) is an online journal, continuous flow, open access, and does not establish any charge for submission or publication. It publishes articles in Portuguese, English or Spanish.

It is organized and maintained by researchers from the Nucleus of Educational Policies – NuPE, from the Education Sector of UFPR, since 2007, evaluated by Qualis CAPES 2017-2020 as A2. ISSN 1981-1969

Its purpose is to publish unpublished articles in the area of Educational Policies, covering themes that involve the analysis of policies at all levels and modalities of teaching, as well as the evaluation of educational policies, educational planning and management, education financing, comparative education, among others. other themes in this field of knowledge.

This journal publishes articles in a continuous publication system (continuous flow).

1. The authors retain the copyright and grant JPE the right to first publication, with the work simultaneously licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution License that allows the sharing of the work with recognition of its authorship and initial publication in this magazine.
2. Authors are authorized to sign additional contracts, separately, for non-exclusive distribution of the version published in JPE (for example, in institutional repositories or book chapters, with acknowledgment of their authorship and initial publication at JPE).
3. Authors are encouraged to publish and distribute the online version of the article (for example, in institutional repositories or on their personal page), considering that this can induce the science, as well as increase the impact and citations of the published article.
4. This journal provides public access to all of its content, as this allows greater visibility and reach of published articles and reviews. For more information on this approach, visit the Public Knowledge Project, a project that developed this system to improve the academic and public quality of research, distributing OJS as well as other software to support the publication system of public access to academic sources.
