The journal Linguagens, Educação e Sociedade (LES) is an open access vehicle for scientific, dissemination of the Graduate Program in Education, of the Federal University of Piauí, created in 1996, with the edition of two annual numbers, starting to be published in the electronic version, from 2017.

LES aims to contribute to the dissemination of scientific knowledge in the field of Education and related areas, produced by Brazilian and foreign researchers. The journal publishes scientific articles, original and unpublished research results, interviews and reviews of works relevant to the field of Education, in Portuguese, Spanish and English, in accordance with its editorial policy.

The journal is published every four months.
