This article addresses the implementation of Rural Education as a public education policy and its implications on the life of peasants. The research adopted a documentary method and dialogue s with legal documents and authors of the field of study such as: Rosa and Caetano (2008), Ribeiro (2013) Molina, Antunes and Rocha (2014), as well as Kingdon (1995), Viana (1996) and Rua (2013). The first analyzes show that the participation of the land fighting movement was important for the implementation of the educational policy of Rural Education, therefore it is about understanding the relation of society versus state, the policy agenda, the actors, the implementation as covered categories to visualize the effectiveness of this education policy.
