Abstract

The goal of this work is the analysis of what the teachers of a major course have been making about the aspects related to the a teaching, and search new elements for the comprehension of the current situation of the university majors. From the empirical verifying that the major, as course of teachers’ initial formation, currently has less academic prestige than bachelor’s degree, this study aims to point out why the alternatives for the change of the current situation exceeds the persistent and not efficient alterations in the curriculum systems, the only answer normally proposed for the improvement of the teacher’s initial preparation courses.
