Abstract

GONCALVES, Jonas Rodrigo  and  PEREIRA, Ondina Pena. THE CONTRIBUTIONS OF SPINOZA'S AFFECTS THEORY TO THE PSYCHOLOGY OF DIFFERENCE. Eccos Rev. Cient. [online]. 2022, n.63, e22071.  Epub Feb 12, 2024. ISSN 1983-9278.  https://doi.org/10.5585/eccos.n63.22071.

The Psychology of Difference consists in the creation of a conceptual field whose main characteristic is to provide instruments to exercise the critical function of psychological theories in tune with hegemonic systems of meaning construction, especially those that assert hierarchies, disjunctive oppositions and norms and work by the homogenization of differences. Because of this, it aims at valuing singularities. It articulates with the Philosophy of Difference, with Political Psychology and with Political Clinic. In this sense, we will expose in this article the basic theories that will allow the thematic direction proposed here to the Psychology of Difference, as an experimental listening, which puts into practice an ethics of singularities. This study is characterized as an epistemological production of a conceptual nature about the contributions of Spinoza's theory of affects with the Psychology of Difference.

Keywords : spinoza; theory of affects; psychology of difference..
