This paper describes the analysis of experiences which involve school practices undergone by blind students who got medals in the Brazilian Mathematics Olympiad in Public Schools. This investigation aims at understanding the processes of Mathematics teaching and learning they experienced throughout their school life, in order to contribute to other blind students’ learning processes and teacher education programs. Therefore, narrative interviews were made with the students so as to listen to their stories about processes of Mathematics teaching and learning experienced in Elementary School. Discursive Textual Analysis was used for analyzing elements that emerge from their talks. Barriers imposed by the society, acknowledgement of the other and specificities of blindness which arise from self-knowledge emerged as elements that compose categories implied in these experiences. The analysis of the themes can contribute to teachers who undergo inservice programs that aim at inclusive Mathematics teaching.
