This article, which means to present the (Mis) Leads of Professional Education in Brazil, approaching, essencialy, its basic contours within the educational context. These have been moving back and forth and have the law of "Diretrizes e Bases" of National Education as they key reference. The first efforts to think over the work-education phenomenon will be pointed out with emphasis on the theory of human values, the analysis of Professional Education (Law 5692/71) will fallow. The fourth item focus on the challenges of re-thinking the relation work-education before the demands placed by the process of economic globalization. The fifth item is na effort to analyse the current professional education, considering the presumed features of the new LDB and the legalization phenomenon. Finally, some considerations on the historic trajectory of Professional Education in Brazil and the new courses lined out by the new LDB are presented.
