This article focuses learning as a process. It is not a discussion of theories of learning. Its major aim is to anolyze the role of achievement, retention and transfer. It emphasizes learning according to these three aspects as on essential basis for all theories of learning, although some modem theories do not take them into account. It is widely accepted that a new general conceptualization of these aspects in necessary. A model for the learning process; s not presented because the major concern in this study ore the three select aspects of learning process.
