Abstract
Through this article, we report the experience of using a quality management system in the planning and execution of an action plan for a Physical Therapy course at a private Brazilian higher education institution with ISO9001 certification. We also describe the proposed actions and the achieved outcomes. This is a descriptive, narrative study of the experiential type, presenting the results of the actions proposed within an action plan. The management tool proved capable of effectively organizing the rescheduling of in-person practical disciplines for the year 2020, which had been disrupted by the Covid-19 pandemic. It successfully balanced student and teacher schedules with laboratory availability in accordance with the academic activities of the year 2021.
