This article, an experience report, exposes the choreographic process of a group of Gymnastics for All (GfA) from Bahia and its manifestations for new dynamics of the Afro-Bahian carnival movement and Bahian blackness - space of contestation, claim due to the need for recognition and transformations in the Salvadorian art scene. The registration of choreographies and their elaboration processes can help teachers and practitioners to identify the innumerable possibilities of GfA, its challenges, possibilities and dynamics of different groups and locations in the country. This report was based on the development of choreographic composition experienced by the GEGINBA group in its first participation in GfA festivals, the records of this process were used as a data source for this article and sought to contribute to the records of GfA choreographic processes in Brazil, being this the pioneer of this locality in the country.
